TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PAYMENTS

  1. Course fees are inclusive of theory lectures, practicals (if any), manual cost, one examination attempts and certificate. No deductions can be made if the student chooses not to attend any lectures or practical's, not collect his /her manual copy or certificate etc.
  2. Course fees are not-transferable & non-refundable.
  3. All Payments must be made at the front desk. Payments will have to make via Online Transfer, cheque and Cash Only.
  4. An installment option may be offered on selective courses and additional fees may be applicable for the same.
  5. The balance payments for PT and Nutrition course has to be cleared as per mentioned dates. If this is not complied with, the student will not be allowed to attend lectures/ practical's until the payment is cleared.
  6. The manuals will be issued in phased manner only after the instalment payments are cleared in the bank.
  7. Abounced cheque will incur Rs. 500/- monetary penalty
  8. There will be a limit set to the number of students in a batch, therefore if the desired batch is full, prospective students are advised to pay a refundable deposit of Rs. 1000/- so they can be put on the waiting list for the next desired batch. However, the balance must be paid before the commencement of the next batch.
  9. If student has paid course fees in the past for a particular batch and he wants to post-pone and thus change to the future batch, then the current fee structure will be applicable to the student.
  10. If course fees & instalments are not paid on time, then late payment time will not be applicable and admission might be cancelled.

COURSE VALIDITY AND PRACTICALS

  1. Duration of course will vary as per course batch and type.

EXAMINATION AND CERTIFICATION

  1. Exams must be completed only in the following order-theory, practical and viva
  2. All students will get only one attempts to clear each exam. Every additional exam attempt will be charged extra with prevalent fees
  3. Grading System will be applicable in most courses. In some courses passing criteria will be minimum 60% in theory, practical and viva examination. If candidate does not achieve this criteria or minimum grading, he/ she must give re exam.
  4. A student who fails the examination, but feels that he has been wrongly assessed, can appeal for re-checking of the paper. The appeal must be made in the form of a written application addressed to the Director, Mr. Rupesh Ankolekar. The Director will take a call on whether the appeal is warranted or not. His decision will be final in this regard.
  5. The certificate will be issued in the name mentioned by the student on the registration form.
  6. CPR certification is compulsory for few courses and the fees for the same are not included in the course fees
  7. All certificates are valid for varying periods depending upon the certification
  8. In order to revalidate any certificate, students will have to re-appear for respective exams and clear them. Revalidation exam fees will be Rs. 3,000- OR student will have to undergo at-least 1 TIESS workshop before revalidation term.
  9. Students must collect their certificate within 60 days from their exam date. This must be done by students personally coming to Institute/ Academy.
  10. Fee of Rs. 1000/- will be applicable for any duplicate certificate that is required by a student.

GENERAL

  1. Students will not be allowed to use the gym floor for practice (except during scheduled practical sessions).
  2. General information regarding all Institute/ Academy lectures for various courses is available on the Institute Academy brochure and is subject to change without a prior notice. The updated course schedule and exam dates will be available on the notice board at the Institute/Academy.
  3. The starting date of upcoming batches is subject to change. No refunds will be given for delays. If any registered student is unable to attend the postponed batch, he/she may attend any subsequent batch with prior permission of the Director according to his/her Convenience and subject to seat availability.
  4. The tentative lecture, practical, exam schedule will be given to students on the first day of the course and is subject to change. The Institute/ Academy reserves the right to schedule extra lectures as per the requirement for each batch.
  5. All students will be contacted regarding changes in lecture, schedule, exam dates and results as per the contact details given at the time of registration. The Institute/Academy is not responsible if any student cannot be contacted due to uninformed changes in contact numbers, any temporary disconnection in the same or unavailability of the student at those number(s)
  6. Any change in personal information should be brought to the notice of the Institute/Academy front desk
  7. All students are expected to maintain discipline and punctuality.
  8. Student is are requested to leave the Institute/ Academy premises immediately at the end of their lectures or practical's.
  9. Students must comply with all member rules of the respective gyms while using the gym floor.
  10. Audio video recording without permission of any segment of the course is strictly prohibited. In case caught the recording will be confiscated and the student's course will be terminated without recourse or refund.
  11. Misappropriate action/foul language/misconduct by any student will result in termination of the course admission of the student without refund.
  12. It is the responsibility of the students to inform the lecturer and the training faculty of any and every health problem before commencing the practicals.
  13. The management will not be responsible for any personal belongings of the students in case of lost or theft. Lost and found items will be sent to the main office from where it may be collected within 7 days or else they will be discarded.
  14. The examination structure and the evaluation system is at the sole discretion of the management and is subject to change without prior notice
  15. Ex-students can make up for any missed lecture or repeat any lecture, free of cost, for the rest of their life with prior permission of the dean and subject to seat availability. In order to re-attend any practical a fee will be applicable.
  16. All students are encouraged to give their suggestions, queries and feedback via feedback form or email to the Director at rupeshankolekar@gmail.com.
  17. The course manuals/ books are in 2 languages– English and Marathi. These manuals have the same content. Students are advised to collect the same in the language they are comfortable with.

MANAGEMENT DISCLAIMER

  1. The management may from time to time change or modify the rules and regulations governing the operations of the Institute/Academy without prior notice
  2. The management may from time to time introduce, discontinue, or change any faculty or equipment or change the location of practical sessions and location of Institute/ Academy without prior notice.
  3. The management may from time to time change the rates of the lnstitute/ Academy without prior notice.
  4. The management shall not be considered in default of its obligations in the instance of natural calamities such as floods, earthquake, tomatoes, hurricanes, storms, heavy rainfall, as well as occurrences such as strikes, lockouts, war or fire etc. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, the management may also be forced to discontinue operations temporarily or permanently. Under such circumstances the Institute Academy will not be liable to pay any refund.
  5. The management will not be responsible for any personal injuries or accidents sustained by individuals in and around the locations of Institute/ Academy or its partner organizations.
  6. Parking valet parking in and around the Institute/ Academy premises is at the sole responsibility of students.
  7. No arguments and disputes regarding course payments will be entertained in the absence of the receipt.
  8. Making copies of the TIESS Fitness Academy manuals is strictly prohibited. An offence will incur termination of the course without refund. Since it is also a violation of copyright laws, strict legal action will also be initiated against the student.
  9. Breaking of any of the Institute/ Academy rules will result in expulsion without refund or certificate.
  10. Any damage caused to equipment or any other property due to misuse or negligence of the students will be their own responsibility. He she will be liable to reimburse the Academy/ lnstitute or its partner organizations for any damages caused. Failure for the same will result in termination of course or exams.
